  On the 9/5/98 a feature story appeared about Tim in The Australian Newspaper's colour weekend supplement the Weekend Australian Magazine :

  A feature profile of Tim was presented in the June/July 1998 edition of the Outdoor Australia Magazine :

  On the 28/8/99 The Australian newspaper recognised Tim as one of this century's greatest Australians. In a special colour magazine titled "This Living Century" Tim was listed with nine other Australian Adventurers—including Douglas Mawson and Charles Kingsford Smith—as "People who shaped our Nation".

  The Book of Success by Ben Collins in 2004 featured a chapter written by Tim.

   "The Book of Success celebrates achievment. It is a collection of first person stories by normal Australians who have achieved the abnormal."

 In June 2005 Men's Health Magazine profiled Tim.

  On the 12/1/08, Tim's tribute to Sir Edmond Hillary appeared in the Herald Sun Newspaper, titled Master of Everest.

  The 2010 book, Celebrating 50 years of Australian Mountaineering Feats and Friendships in Nepal, published by the Australian Embassy Nepal included a chapter about Tim.
